Pine have their second block of forest school after half term 23/02/26, 02/03/26, 09/03/26, 16/03/26, 23/03/26. Please ensure your child has a change of clothes, waterproofs and wellies in school. These items will stay in school for the 5 weeks of forest school. A reminder of the clothing needed is below.
Dress for Mess and Mud
Waterproof coat (with a hood) – essential in all seasons
Jumper or fleece and Polo Shirt – for warmth in cold months
Base layer - if it's very cold an extra thin layer under your polo shirt.
Polo Shirt - in warmer months
Long trousers – preferably old or outdoor-specific - essential in all seasons
Waterproof trousers (especially in winter or muddy months)
Sturdy trainers, walking boots or wellies – depending on the weather/terrain
Thick socks (double socks if cold)
Hat, gloves and snood – in cold months
Sun hat, sunscreen & insect repellent – in warmer months
