This morning Rowan class had the opportunity to attend forest school for the first time this academic year. A big thank you to those who sent the children in with wellies, waterproofs and a change of clothes. If you haven’t done this yet please do so as soon as possible to ensure your children can attend sessions.
We played the boundary game to remind us of how far we go at forest school, we skipped/jumped and ran. There was time to explore with the magnify glasses, binoculars and bug catchers (I think most of the bug were hiding away due to the cold weather). The children learnt how to use tree setting safely. We also enjoyed making our necklaces and picking our forest school names for these. We are looking forward to our next session on Monday 19th Jan, remember to bring in your kit.
