What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! All the children have returned to school with a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm. However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the week.

Amaira, for taking responsibility for your learning and managing distractions around you. You have tried very hard with your presentation and uplevelling your work. You should be very proud of yourself. Well done!
Elliot-Ellis, for participating very during the carpet session in Geography this week. You were very confident and were able to recall facts about penguins. Well done.
Aadya, for her original ideas and for consistently producing outstanding work across all her lessons. Well done!
The Star Writer awards go to:
Milan, for your fantastic writing about African animals. You have described and written words that tell us information about animals. Fantastic work!
Samuel, for working hard on his sounds and letter formations. For being able to sound out words such as ‘sad’ and ‘buzz’ independently and writing them.
Jorgie, for her descriptive piece of writing on penguins where she used various expanded noun phrases.
We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school.
