Year 2 Certificates- 20/1/23

On

What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! All the children have returned to school with a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm. However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the week.

20.01.23

The E for Excellence awards go to:

Thomas, for impressing the year 2 teachers with your wonderful understanding of lines of symmetry in Maths. You were able to draw images using a ruler ensuring that lines were clean and straight. Well done!

Anna, for your outstanding commitment to your work this week. You have taken time to make sure you are putting your best into your work. Well done Anna!

Hussain, for his problem solving skills and his ability to think critically. Well done!

The Star Writer awards go to:

Isabella, for developing great confidence and attitude during her written activities. Isabella has worked on her presentation and has ensured that her sentences made sense. Well done!

Jessica, for your independent writing about the character you have created for our story ‘Lost and Found’ I particularly enjoyed your phrase ‘he is as cute as a baby’. Nice to see your confidence growing!

Adam H, for incorporating his new character in an imaginative way in the Lost and Found story and for using wide range of similes. Well done!

We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school.

The reflectiveness award this week goes to: Adyaan, Scarlet, Aniah-Mai

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

The resourcefulness award this week goes to: Abrish, Zariyah, Ksenjia

These pupils have been curious about their learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.

A huge well done Yr 2!
