Year 1 Awards 17.09.2021

 

  

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Year 1! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Walnut: Carter worked extremely hard to count different objects in maths. He worked very carefully until he counted all of them correctly. Super efforts!


Apricot: Ava has been a fantastic Role model to everyone in her class. She always shares her ideas and contributions  in class discussions. Ava always tries hard with her work. Well done! 


Beech: Saim, has been working incredibly hard in the Art sessions. He independently selected his own resources and created an alien friend for ‘Beegu’. 




Star Writers 

 

 Aadya

Walnut:  Aadya, for using her phonics knowledge, Aadya  worked independently to write descriptive sentences.Keep up the good work!


 

 

Apricot: Bella-Rose has been doing some great independent writing. She tried hard on listing all of the objects she found when the spaceship crashed in the playground. She also used her phonics knowledge to sound out any words she was unsure of. Great writing Bella

 

 

 

 

Beech: Amari, has been working extremely hard on his independent writing both in the RWI sessions and in his Topic work. Amari used his phonic knowledge to write descriptive sentences to describe ‘Beegu’.Well done Amari!

 

 

 

 Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

Riley has been awarded “ I made my teacher happy” because he has been trying really hard to make the right choices in and out of the classroom! Well done Riley!
