Year 1 Awards 24.09.21

 

  

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Year 1! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Walnut:

James has been awarded the E for Excellence award for his counting skill. James worked very hard to independently count numbers to 50. Super effort!



Apricot: 

Athena has been working hard and trying her best in all subjects. She is a great role model for the other children and is continuously making good choices. Keep up the hard work Athena!


Beech: Ivan has been awarded the ‘E for Excellence Award’, in recognition of his excellent historical skills. He was able to use his chronological skills confidently to order past events. Well done Ivan!




 

 

 

  Star Writers 

 

Walnut:

Anya worked very hard to use interesting words when writing about Beegu’s feelings. She used her phonics knowledge, finger spaces and correct punctuation. Well done Anya.

 

 

Apricot: 

Bruno has been trying hard with his letter formation when writing about Beegus' feelings. He used his phonics knowledge to sound out unfamiliar words. Well Done Bruno! Keep up the hard work!

 

Beech:

Tesha has been awarded the Star Writer Award in recognition of working extremely hard in the  RWI sessions and in the Literacy Sessions. She has used her phonic knowledge, finger spaces, and correct punctuation to write sentences about Beegu. Keep up the fantastic work! Well done Tesha!

 

 

 

 

Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others.
