Year 2 Star Writers

Summer and Kiera are our Star Writers this week! They have successfully written a Newspaper report about the mysterious events in Year 2 recently.

 

The girls can now use the features of a newspaper report which include, a headline, by-line, body, and sources.! They made sure their headlines were short and snappy to entice readers, and also included a final plea to encourage readers to come forward with information in the hope the mystery could be solved.

 

Here is what the girls had to say about their writing:  

 

"It was fun writing a newspaper! I said, so please let Cherry know if you have any more information, then hopefully someone will come and tell us if they saw anything." Summer Baker.
