Did you know that today is National Handwriting Day? Well, in Cherry class we certainly do!
Therefore, we wanted to embrace our handwriting and show off what we can do! Whilst celebrating our fabulous handwriting we also celebrated how fabulous we all are as individuals. We did this by writing down Things I love about me (in our best handwriting of course).
The children thoroughly enjoyed having a moment of reflection to think about everything they are proud of and what makes them special. We continuously work on our targets and seek ways to better ourselves but today reminded the children that we also need to highlight our strengths and what we already do well.
Whether it be amazing manners, maths ability, lovely luscious locks, beaming smiles or football skills, the children were able to find ample strengths about themselves.
I must agree with each and every one of the statements written today, we truly do have wonderful children in Cherry class!
