Year 2 Sing Their Hearts Out
On Friday, our Year 2 children had the exciting opportunity to take part in the Havering Music Festival at Hilldene Primary School.
We were joined by several other local schools for a wonderful celebration of music and singing. Each school performed its own individual song, and our children proudly sang Count on Me by Bruno Mars. They sang with enthusiasm, confidence and great reciprocity, making us all very proud.
As well as performing their own song, the children also joined together with the other schools to sing several songs as part of a mass choir. It was a fantastic experience for them to perform alongside so many other young singers and to be part of such a special event.
The children represented our school brilliantly throughout the day. Their behaviour, effort and enthusiasm were excellent and they demonstrated great resilience when performing.
We are incredibly proud of all the children who took part and would like to thank them for their hard work and commitment in preparing for the festival.
It was a memorable day and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joy of music together.
