Rowan Class - Forest School
Rowan class were very happy to be back at forest school today. The rain held off meaning we were able to explore making sounds with instruments and then made our own woodland instrument too. We learnt about when to play or stop following a conductor. The children enjoyed the opportunity to learn about maypole dancing and welcoming the summer in, hopefully we’ll have some more sunshine soon. There was time to dig, use the swing and play foxes and rabbits. It was good to see the children lead their own learning as they each followed their different interests.
Could you please make sure that your children have the correct clothing on Monday as the weather is becoming very unpredictable!
Thank you!
