After Easter, on Tuesday 22nd April, Mulberry class will start their second block of 5 Forest School sessions.
Even though we are hopefully going to enjoy some dryer and warmer weather, it is really important that the children have the correct clothing. If they are not dressed correctly and feel cold and wet, or cannot kneel down or sit on the grass because they are wearing a dress or shorts, it is very uncomfortable for them and takes some of the enjoyment out of the sessions.
The children will need:
A waterproof outer layer (separate waterproof trousers and jacket or an all in one) - This may not be needed every week, but it is still good to have in school in case the weather is wet one week.
Waterproof boots (welly or ski boots)
Long trousers, such as jogging bottoms - Shorts are summer dresses are not appropriate for Forest School
A coat
Sun hat
Sun cream if the weather is very hot - This should be applied before the children come to school.
Please note that the boots, waterproofs and long trousers will be kept in school until the five sessions are over.
Please do not send your child to school wearing these items. Please put them in a separate bag that can be kept in school and the children will change before their lesson each week.
We are very much looking forward to teaching your children during their Forest School sessions.
