Week 1- Year one what we are learning!

 

In literacy this term we are focusing on the book ‘The snail and the whale’. We have been learning how to write instructions using time adverbials.

In maths this week we looked at doubles. We recognised that when we double a number we add the same number to itself. For example, 3 + 3 = 6 so double 3 is 6.

In Geography this term we are learning about Human and Physical features, we went for a walk around the school and identified different objects and decided whether they were Human or Physical features.
