Remembrance Day at Broadford 2023
This year for Remembrance Day the whole school took part in a two minute silence. At Broadford each child also decorated a poppy and added them to a class wreath. The wreaths from each class were then displayed on the railings outside of the school and around our school reception and classrooms. In KS2 the children wrote a poem for Remembrance Day and added it to their wreath. The children also made Poppy Art work in classes and the KS2 Forest School children also made poppies during their Forest School activities. We made two displays out of all of the amazing poppies and Poppy Art work. In KS1, Mulberry class also made poppies during Forest School.
