Geography
This week in Geography we continued our work on
the countries in the UK. We found out about
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We learnt facts about traditional foods,
currency, climate and sports played.
Our task was to write a fact file about the UK.
Brielle- “Our special food is fish and chips”
Iustin- “One of our sports is football”
Literacy
This week, the children learnt about the features
of instructions. Thereafter, they used these

Maths
This week the children worked on addition
subtraction across 10 and from a ten as well
as subtracting from a ten and subtracting
a 1-digit number from a 2-digit number
(across a 10). Pupils were able to use their
prior knowledge of number bonds and part
whole model to solve addition and subtracting
problems that involved partitioning.
Forest School
This morning, Mulberry class were excited to be back at Forest School. They did a great job of ‘Loving Our School’ by litter picking and tidying the area. We spent some time singing and made our forest school necklaces. We also thought about Remembrance Day and made some forest poppies. We stood around our poppies for the 2 minute silence at 11am. The children were all very thoughtful and reflective. Well done Mulberry Class.
