Year 1 Awards

 

  

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Year 1! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Walnut: Toni

for her efforts in using different strategies to solve subtraction problems. Well done Toni!






Apricot: Adyaan

Adyaan has been very creative this week. He has created some great models and pictures by using junk modeling and different equipment around the classroom. Very Creative!







Beech: Olivia

Olivia, you have been working incredibly hard during the math sessions and then completing your math work independently in the self led sessions. Outstanding work Olivia!

Ite, he used his sounds to write a diary entry. Also he used a conjunction to extend his sentences. Well done Ite!

Melody has created some brilliant independent writing, she has included adjectives and conjunctions in her writing. Well Done!

Star Writer: Lucas, you have worked incredibly hard using your phonic knowledge and excellent ideas to write descriptive sentences about Traction Man. You have included adjectives and conjunctions correctly to your work to add extra detail. Well done Lucas!

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks.

Chloe for improving her attitude towards her learning. Chloe is working harder and showing a lot of determination. Well done! 

 

 

 

Carter for working very hard to his sounds to write lovely sentences. He tried his hardest to complete his diary entry even when he found the task tricky.

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.
