Disgusting Division

After reading the story 'Here come the aliens' year 1 have had to solve some tricky maths problems this week. First we had to use our multiplication and repeated addition skills to help the admiral work out how many spaceships he needed to get to earth. Then we had to use our dividing skills to help the admiral to teach the aliens some table manners and share fairly! The children shared the gruesome alien banquet food and recorded their work for the admiral.
