Measuring in Millilitres

This week the children have been busy applying their measuring skills to solve different problems. One day we had to help Alice in Wonderland as she wanted to know which container would hold the most shrinking potion.

Luckily we had plenty of shrinking potion available in the water tray so the children set to work scooping the potion into bottles then carefully filling the jugs to measure how many millilitres each contained. After this they were able to order the containers by capacity and they recommended the milk bottle to Alice. Unfortunately Alice thought it might be a bit heavy so she has asked us to find out the weight of the containers next!
