E for Excellence

Apricot: Sophie

Sophie has been taking responsibility for proofreading her writing and pointing out any mistakes or missing words in her sentences.



Beech:

Mujtaba for his brilliant work in Maths this week. Mujtaba worked hard to count in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.

Well done Mujtaba! 



Walnut: Maya-P

For her excellent effort in literacy. Maya has been writing a leaflet about how

she can help her world while ensuring she uses her best handwriting. Well done!





  Star Writers 

Apricot:  Kayaan

Kayaan has been more focused during Literacy lessons. He is expressing his ideas and working hard to write c.v.c. words independently.




Beech:

Domanic wrote an amazing leaflet all about how to save our planet. 




 Walnut: Alexandra

For using her writing time carefully to think, plan and write what she is thinking. Alexandra is also beginning to proofread her work to correct any mistakes. Well done, keep it up!




Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 




Reflectiveness 

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 


Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 


Ashlean tried really hard in Read, Write, Inc. She worked hard to fred talk and blend words.

Well done Ashlean!  

Anu- For trying her best to think of exciting adjectives and write them using her phonics. Fabulous work Anu!



Ashar

Ashar has consistently been trying hard with his work in all subjects and managing any classroom distractions.




Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.
