Year 1 Awards!

 

 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Apricot: Happiness

Happiness has been trying hard not to call out his answers when working in a big group. Happiness is patiently waiting until it's his turn to speak. 




Beech: Lenny

For his brilliant Maths work this week! Lenny used a range of Maths resources to make equal groups. Well done Lenny - keep up the hard work! 


Walnut: Leo

For his consistent effort in literacy and maths. Leo is trying really hard to

complete the work independently and use the resources available to him for support.

Well done!


  Star Writers 

Apricot: Tillie - Rose 

Tillie has been using her phonic knowledge to write c.v.c words more independently.

She has also been working to form her letters correctly. 


Beech: Harry 

Harry wrote sentences explaining why it is harmful to drop litter. Well done Harry! 



 Walnut: Mfon

For her effort to form her letters correctly and write neatly. Mfon has been practising her

letter formation and using it in her writing.

Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 


Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 


Reflectiveness 

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 


Ayva

Ayva has been expressing her ideas more clearly when working in a larger group. Ayva has good ideas and it's great she feels more confident to share them. 



Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 


Aryan- For making good choices in the classroom and ensuring he is following the class rules and playing in the provision sensibly. Excellent job!


Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 


Amedea- for making lots of amazing creations with the playdough. Well done Amedea!
