Literacy
This week in Literacy we started reading Jack and the Baked Beanstalk by Colin Stimpson. Pupils described Jack’s personality and appearance using adjectives and formed sentences consisting of conjunctions.
Maths
This week we started our new math topic which is fractions. We learnt about whole and parts. A whole is all, everything, the total amount. A part is part of the whole. We worked hard to think mathematically to answer questions.
RE
This term in RE, pupils are learning about the importance of birth and how it is celebrated across religions. Pupils have explored the concept of belonging and discussed how an identity is formed through dress code and participation.
