What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the week.

The E for Excellence awards go to: 

Bruno, for making it to ‘star’ this week. You have used your choosing time to create wonderful inventions using magnet shapes. Also, you have read with a splendid story telling voice during your choosing time, Well done Bruno! 

Amari, for your fantastic behaviour this week and being kind and inclusive. Very proud of you! Well done!

Andreea, for completing all her daily jobs and trying her best in every lesson. Well done Andrea!

The Star Writer awards go to:

Parisa, for writing a wonderful newspaper report on The Great Fire of London. You have shown great confidence in completing your written work independently and you have begun to think of your own original ideas. Well done!

Fire, for your fantastic newspaper report about the Great fire of London! You took your time with your presentation. Well done!

Chloe, for using all five W's in your news paper article about the Great Fire of London! Fantastic work Chloe.

We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school. 

The resilience award this week goes to: Saim, Amira, Osman

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

The resourcefulness award this week goes to: Elsie, Teddy, Thomas, Riley, Haileigh

These pupils have been curious about their learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

Congratulations to the children who have also made their teacher happy.
