Next week, we will be hosting an open morning for Year 2 parents which will be focused on how to further support your children at home.
Parental feedback overwhelmingly indicated that Maths and reading comprehension was the area that you would like further guidance when supporting your children. Therefore, we have provided this opportunity for you to speak with the Year 2 teachers regarding maths teaching and ideas to support comprehension.
Tea and coffee will be provided at 9am in the hall on Tuesday, followed by a short, informal, session with the Year 2 teachers to discuss mathematical methods taught and a chance for you to ask any further questions.
We will also be answering questions regarding the end of Key Stage Assessments (SATs) which many of you have been asking about.
