Year 2 cook on a fire!

Year 2 headed down to the fire pit today to cook marshmallows. Before the cooking began, however, it was decided that as it was bonfire night and the children had previously been learning about the Gun Powder Plot, it only seemed right that a Guy was burnt in remembrance. The children eagerly stuffed the guy:

"We stuffed him with so much paper" exclaimed Jessica Chilvers. 

Once the Guy was stuffed it was down to the fire pit where he was set alight. The children chanted "Guy is dead! Guy is dead!" as he went up in flames. 

After, there was nothing but ashes left, so the cooking began...

Followed by the eating...
