Outdoor learning in year 1

This is what outdoor learning looks like in Year One! During the week we have had maths activities creating our own big scale number line to help with our subtraction calculations. We have been creating waterproof shelters in science. In History, we have been flying the kites we made last week and learning how to make paper aeroplanes to assist with our learning about the Wright brothers and the history of flight. We have also been investigating and classifying bugs, looking at the properties of materials, constructing things, discovering air and wind movement- and lots more!
