Reciprocity in Pine

This term we have been looking more closely at the four R's, with a focus on Reciprocity. Each week, we have been exploring this through a different activity. So far we have been playing 'emotion' games to learn about having empathy for others, we have collaborated in small groups to work on creating thank-you cards and this week we have supported each other by working in pairs and teaching each other something new in the classroom. Pine class did a fantastic job and came up with lots of exciting ideas, such as, teaching a new sound in phonics, times tables, addition/ subtraction, how best to use stencils, how to make a lego house, how to create a marble run, how to play a computer game, how to read with expression, how to make a glider and how to use the finger gym.

Well done Pine class- you all worked really well at teaching your partners and you learned a lot about sharing ideas and working together- using those reciprocity skills!
