The firefighters let us sit inside the fire engine and explained how the different tools and equipment were used when fighting fire.
Before returning to school for lunch we were all allowed to use the hose to squirt a huge jet of water.
Our visit helped support our Fire topic and reinforced our learning about how to stay safe and what you should do if you discover a fire.
