Cherry visit London!

Cherry had an extremely exciting day in London Friday. First we visited the Monument, the children were very keen to see the 'real thing' after learning about it during our Fire topic, they were all wowed at how tall it was!

We then took a walk to the Tower of London whereby we saw and learnt about lots of fantastic things.
The children spotted a portcullis and arrow slits within ten minutes of arriving! We admired the precious Crown Jewels and watched Queen Elizabeth's coronation. We also witnessed the Ravens having a drink from a fountain, spoke to a beafeater, heard two exciting stories, went up the 'Bloody Tower'  and even had time to visit the shop before getting the train and bus home!

All the children in Cherry showed great maturity and were a pleasure to take out. Well done Cherry you did Broadford proud!
