Year 2 Awards

 


 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Mulberry

Mujtaba, for trying his best in RWI and in literacy this week. He was loud and proud in RWI and made brilliant contributions in literacy.



Rowan Class

Farzaan, for working hard during his maths intervention to understand word problems. Fantastic work!


Pine Class

Adam, for confidently demonstrating what vertices and sides are and using classroom resources to create and discuss the 2D shapes that you have made with others, Well done! 




Star Writers 


Mulberry Class

Lenny, for working very hard to write a fact file about the Pacific Ocean in Geography. Well done!

Rowan Class


Chloe, for working hard to make sure her capital letters were in the correct place when writing a letter to Egg box dragon. Super work!


Pine Class

Jaxon, for writing a detailed and formal letter as the queen using powerful adjectives and punctuation to capture the attention of the reader. You have done an excellent job, well done!







                                The reflectiveness award this week goes to: Natalia, Maya M


These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 



Natalia was able to reflect upon her knowledge of the Egg box dragon story. This supported her when planning her letter.  Great work!





The resourcefulness award this week goes to: Kayaan. Inaya

Domanic for using  available resources in the class to help him complete his  2D  and 3D shapes task.


These pupils have been curious about their learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination,  reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 


Kayaan was able to think about which resources he could use to create the perfect 2D shape. Brilliant work!
