Green Fingers Year 2
Friday was a lovely, mild day for a spot of gardening. We moved our plants so we could create a dedicated area for planting and growning. In KS1 the children learn about the parts of a plant, they also learn about what plants need to stay alive. Throughout the year we will be looking closely at our plants for changes. We have planted some herbs and will also be planting some vegetables soon so we can start to see first hand the benefits of our gardening efforts!
"Disco heather is so colourful, it looks like a firework!" Shivanshi
"I've done gardening at home before, I know you have to carefully put it's roots in." Elise
