Year 2 Yoga For Health!

During Healthy Eating week Year 2 also explored what exercise could help keep us healthy. 
To help us learn about fitness (and to enjoy the weather!) we had a Vinyasa yoga session in the playground led by Mr Jackson.


The children learned about how flexibility and holding the poses aid in improved health and balance whilst also helping our mental clarity. 





There was lots of fantastic effort and some amazing balance and flexibility, but we all needed a good drink of water afterwards!
