Year one visit the shop!
This half term, year one have been designing their own cakes as part of our Scrum-diddly-ump-tious topic. The children have been working hard creating designs, choosing ingredients and writing shopping lists.
Today the first group headed to the shops to buy the ingredients for their cake. They were each given £1 to spend. The children showed great reciprocity skills, working together to decide how to spend their money. They are very excited to bake their cakes and host a tea party!
"We had to walk the new Lidl and we went in the cake isle! We chose white chocolate chips, lots of sweets and ice-cream cones for the unicorn horn!" said Livi
