Last week the children in Year 2 learned all about the Gunpowder plot! They found out lots of interesting facts about Guy Fawkes and discussed why we still celebrate something which failed. They had a fabulous time building a Guy Fawkes dummy, and then then went down to the Fire Pit where we had our very own bonfire! "We chanted the rhyme which helps us to remember what happened, 'remember remember the 5th of November, gunpowder, treason and plot" Freddie J
