A massive congratulations to our 9 Year 2 pupils who took part in the Drapers Sports Day today! The children competed in 5 events across the day, against other schools, and their points from each event were added up to make a total score - they finished a highly commended third place overall! Year 2 were one of the three year groups across Broadford to be placed in the top three in their Year group, such a massive achievement! Their success contributed to the overall total score of the school which saw Broadford crowned as overall champions on the day!
A particular highlight of the day for Year 2 was winning 4 out of 8 of the sprint races! You children really can run fast!

A big thank you also goes to the parents who came and supported and Miss Cook & Mr Portway for working tirelessly over the term to make the event such a great experience for the year 2 children. We have set our sights on being Year 2 champs next year!
