Cherry Class Drama Workshop.

Last week the children of Cherry class had an extra special treat; on Thursday afternoon they took part in a drama workshop relating to The Great Fire Of London.

The children found themselves transported back to 1666, re-enacting the fateful night the Fire started in Pudding Lane. They acted out various daily activities that would have taken place during this time before moving on to the Fire itself. Finally they met Sir Thomas Bloodworth, the Mayor at the time, who demanded significant changes were put in place to ensure such disastrous things never happened again!

The children loved every moment of the afternoon; it was great to see them express themselves so creatively using drama.

It was so fun pretending to be the fire flames. Charlie

I liked pulling the houses down, I bet they were so heavy! Paris
