Conor's Venus Fly Trap

Conor amazed Pine class when he bought in a Venus Fly Trap to show everyone. We learnt that the Venus Fly Trap is a carnivorous plant that traps its prey using its leaveS. With the aid of a stick we were able to see exactly how the Venus Fly Trap worked. As we touched the surface of the plant leaf it quickly closed and trapped our stick!
