A very creative week for Year 2, as the children have been completing performances while reciting poetry. They have been learning about the different features of a poem, and this week the focus was on repeated phrases. The children also followed the rhythm of the poem by clapping and speaking in time with one another.
We experienced some fantastic performances, and the children came up with some fabulous movements to accompany their poems. A wonderful lesson enjoyed by all.
