Year 2 Awards

 

 

These children have worked extremely
hard and have been rewarded
for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence
Mulberry Class
Annalise, for working very hard to accurately
compare the capacity and masses of
different objects in maths this week. Well done.

Rowan Class
Tillie-Rose, for being a great role
model and showing her peers how to
complete their carpet jobs. Well done!

Pine Class
Layla, she has worked super hard during RWI
and has been trying really hard to apply her
sounds to her writing this week. Well done!

 Star Writers
Mulberry Class
Domanic, for his excellent effort in History this
week. Dominic worked very hard to state
the different ways that Martin Luther
King Jr. fought for equality.


Rowan Class

Ahmad, for his excellent effort in literacy this week.

Using amazing adjectives, Ahmad

wrote a detailed and engaging missing 

poster. Great work!


                                                    Pine Class


                              Isabella, for writing a detailed and

                        descriptive  missing poster of her own character

                        using appropriate adjectives. Well done!


The resilience award this week goes to: Serghei, Alexandra

.

These children have demonstrated perseverance,

managed distractions, noticed patterns

and been absorbed in their tasks.

 

Serghei has worked hard in both his RWI lessons and

interventions. This has allowed him to move

up RWI groups. Keep up the good work!


The reciprocity award this week goes to: Freya, Amerah



These children have shown interdependence, collaborated

effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have

imitated effective ideas and methods from others. 


Freya has shown reciprocity by listening and supporting

everyone in her group when completing a computing task.

The reflectiveness award this week goes to: 


These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas,

identified key features and can talk about their learning. 

Lujah for working very hard to reflect on and improve her writing.

 

The resourcefulness award this week goes to: 

Khushbakht, for revising her ideas

and improving her History writing task.



These pupils have been curious about their learning,

made links between ideas, shown imagination,

reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.
