Year 1 Awards

 

 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apricot: Ella- Rae

Ella - Rae has been working hard on her number formation and anointing from 1-10. Ella has been practising everyday and all her hard work is showing. 


Beech:  Aadhav

Aadhav has been working extremely hard in Literacy to ensure his sentences are punctuated correctly.


Walnut: Aarav

For his excellent efforts in school, his kindness to his peers and teachers and for always following instructions. Keep it up!  


Star Writers 

Apricot: Eliza 

Eliza created great sentences using her own ideas on how the king would feel if he couldn't decide on what pants to wear. Eliza worked hard on her letter formation and capital letters. 


Beech:  Eliza.A

Eliza used ambitious vocabulary to describe how the King was feeling. She also worked hard to correct her letter formation. 


Walnut: Ayesha

For trying super hard to use her sounds correctly in her writing and write more independently. Keep it up!


Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 


Alayah- Alayah has been listening to her friends' suggestions and ideas this week, then making comments and sharing her opinions on the given topic. 

Daniel- For supporting the class with their learning by sharing his ideas and thought processes. Daniel has also been sharing his toys nicely with his peers and finding solutions to problems independently. Excellent efforts Daniel.

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

Ocean for trying really hard to form his numbers correctly and never gave up until they were perfect!
