Year 1 Awards

 



These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Apricot: Anaelle

Anaelle has been working hard in every lesson. Anaelle is showing more confidence to work independently and will correct or amend her work when needed. Good Job!


Beech: Munsha for her hard work in all areas of her learning. Munsha always tries her best in every lesson. She has been producing excellent pieces of Maths and Literacy. Well done Munsha!





Walnut: Joshua

Well done Joshua for using your mathematical skill to find 1 more, 1 less and count to 50 on a number line. Super job!




Star Writers

Apricot: Tiger Lily

Tiger Lily has been working extremely hard with her phonics and handwriting. She is starting to form her letters correctly and re,enter her full stops at the end of a sentence.








Beech: Miya-Rose for her excellent effort whilst writing a snail fact file this week. She worked hard to apply her phonic sounds correctly to her writing. Well done Miya-Rose!


Walnut: Layla-Mae

Layla-Mae has earned this award for using adjectives to describe the different seasons in the UK. Well done!








Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.




Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others.




This has been awarded to: Beech class for supporting each other so well during their Mr Bubbles Science workshop this week. Mr Bubble was super impressed by the reciprocity skills shown by the whole class. Beech class cheered each other on and worked as a team throughout. Well done Beech class!



Reflectiveness

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

Well done for working very hard to use your sounds to write a set of instructions for looking after a snail. You didn't give up but kept trying until your sentences made sense. Keep up the good work!

Kylie has been using her voice more when completing lesson when on the carpet. Well done for always having a go!
