Year 1 Awards 22.10.2021

 

  

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Year 1! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Walnut:

Cruz worked very hard this week to independently  add and subtract numbers using different methods. Well done Cruz!

Apricot:Ayla

Ayla has been working hard on her Maths. She has been using different strategies when subtracting, and was able to do this independently! 


Beech:Alana

Alana, in recognition of you always trying your best in the math sessions. You have worked super hard  this week solving subtraction questions. Well done Alana!






 

 

 

  Star Writers 

 

Walnut:Maiyaa

Maiyaa  wrote a diary entry using her sounds. She wrote lovely sentences using finger spaces, capital letters and full  stops. Well done Maiyaa!

 

 

 

 

Apricot: Callissiya 

Callissiya has been working so hard on her writing. She has been completing sentences remembering her finger spaces and full stops and her letter formation is neat and clear to read. 

 

 

 

Beech: Fire

Fire, you have been working super hard on your writing skills in the RWI sessions and the Topic sessions. Keep up your amazing work. Well done Fire!

Kezia is always a great model in the classroom, she is always sitting nicely and tries her best when taking part in her learning and activities.

Nyasa always tries her absolute best in the classroom and has a super positive attitude. She is an excellent role model for her friends and to the class.

 

Adalind has earned the ‘Happy Teacher  Award’ for her positive attitude towards her learning and for being a kind member of the class. Well done Adalind.
