Year One- Week 5 Celebration Certificates!


Apricot - Nasrat, for his hard work in Maths this week. Nasrat used his hundred square and knowledge of his 2 and 5 times tables to help him complete different missing number sequences. Brilliant work Nasrat!



Beech -  Chidera for his excellent effort in maths this week. He was able to use the numicon to identify odd and even numbers. Great work, Chidera! 

 

 

Walnut - Umar,  for working extremely hard to independently complete his maths work. Umar used a  hundred square with his  knowledge of numbers to add and complete missing number sequences.  Well done, Umar.

 





Apricot - Georgia, for her wonderful writing this week in Literacy. Georgia wrote a brilliant letter to her penpal in Year 2, making sure her handwriting was beautiful and she included all the features of a letter. Well done Georgia!


 


Beech - Grace for developing her independence in her writing. Grace has been working hard on turning her wonderful ideas into fantastic pieces of writing. Her letter to her Year 2 penpal was a great example of this. Keep up the good work Grace.

 

Walnut - Easa, for his e effort  in literacy this week. In his letter to his Year 2 pen pal, Easa used features of a letter  and asked  brilliant questions. Also, Easa used his sounds to help him spell tricky words. Well done Easa.



I have made my teacher happy


Walnut - Fatma, for settling in her new school beautifully and completing all her maths tasks. Well done Fatma.

Tayla, in Apricot, for her effort and curiosity in Maths. Tayla used her hundred square to support her completing her missing number sequences. Well done Tayla!



 


Amelia in Walnut, for using a number line to help her complete her addition and subtraction task this week. Well done!

Emmy, for using her sounds in her writing and supporting others to do so too. Well done Emmy!

 

 

 Reflectiveness

Darren- for his learning in the construction area. Darren has created some wonderful models and inspired others to do the same.


 

Resilience 

Poppy- For working extra hard this week in her independent time. Poppy has chosen to practise her spellings and maths and has been impressing her teachers with her positive attitude. Keep it up Poppy!
