Shopping Trips In Year 2
Last week, Year 2 took their trips to Lidl in preparation for making their chocolate truffles as part of our 'Chocolate Planet' topic. The children have already spent lots of time writing letters for permission to Mrs Nicholls, writing instructions and learning all about money in maths. They were very excited to take their shopping lists to Lidl and search out the ingredients they needed!
All of the children were so sensible whilst walking to the shops and upheld their pupil job of 'being kind and polite to everyone you meet'. They also demonstrated great reciprocity skills in their ability to work as a team to decide on ingredients.
Well done Year 2, we can't wait to get started on those truffles!
