Year 1 - Week 4 Celebration Certificates

Well done to Archie S in Walnut Class for showing fantastic resilience coping with the changes to his routine this half term. Archie joined Miss Ahmed and Mrs Potter for a virtual 1:1 session and participated in the games. Well done Archie!

Well done to Gabi in Apricot Class for writing a brilliant diary entry pretending to be Traction Man. Gabi revisited the draft he made the day before and made it more interesting for the reader by adding lots of great adjectives. Fantastic work Gabi, well done!

Well done to Ayaan in Beech Class for his great work in maths this week. Ayaan has been working hard using his problem solving skills. He has also been learning how to play chess and doing very well at it!

Well done to Victoria in Walnut Class for sharing the story of ‘Night Time’ and a letter she had written independently saying thank you to her parents for their support during the home learning. Super learning Victoria, well done!

Well done to Arnish in Apricot Class for his super Traction Man diary entry. Arnish got into character to write about Traction Man’s new present and why he didn't quite like it. Great job Arnish!

Well done to Sophie in Beech Class for  her excellent work on her diary entry. Sophie thought carefully about how Traction Man would feel when wearing his green romper suit. She included information from the story and the next day edited her work to add more detail to her writing. Well done, Sophie.

The 4 R's - Resilience, Reciprocity, Resourcefulness and Reflectiveness

Well done to Dunsin in Walnut Class for showing reflectiveness when writing her diary entry as Traction Man to make sure it all made sense and contained capital letter, full stop and an adjective. Well done Dunsin for reflecting on your learning!

Well done to Teo in Apricot Class for his perseverance in writing this week, well done Teo!

Well done to George in Beech Class for his super working in phonics. George has been finding creative ways to learn his sounds and then applying them to his writing. Great job, George!
