Next half term we are going to be covering some important science objectives such as naming and describing the external parts of animals, sorting living things into groups, describing observations using simple scientific vocabulary and describing conditions living things need to survive. We decided a fun way to do this would be through a dinosaur topic. Activities will be adapted based on the children's interests and knowledge but we have some exciting ideas involving dinosaur bones and eggs as starting points. We are also very excited about our trip to the Natural History Museum to visit some dinosaur skeletons.
If you have some time over the half term why not have a look at the museums website: www.nhm.ac.uk/kids-only/dinosaurs It has some interesting information and games.
