National Storyteller Week

The week beginning 28th January was National Storytelling Week.
We were lucky to have two storytellers visit us in EYFS and KS1 on Thursday. They played music on a guitar to help with setting the scene.

It was our job to come up with the ideas and then the storytellers put them into a story. In Mulberry Class our story was about a Chocolate Monster! It was a bit scary but was also funny.

We listened very carefully to the story. What would happen next? How could we get rid of the Chocolate Monster?

The storytellers were great fun! We all wanted to add our own ideas to the story.

In Cedar Class our story explained why our school had to be rebuilt. We had to listen carefully to the story, so that we could put forward our ideas.

Our story made us laugh ..........

.....but at other times it was really scary.
