Investigating Victorian Toys

Cedar Class have spent an exciting afternoon finding out about the replica Victorian toys we have in school. Some of the toys were easy to use and others were more challenging. Using our resilience we soon worked out how to play with the toys.

The ball and cup was difficult at first, but with practise we soon managed to catch the ball in the cup.

The whip and top was a real challenge. Winding the whip around the top took a lot of concentration.

The jumping clown was one of the easiest toy to play with. To make the clown jump all  you need to do is pull the string.

We all loved playing with the Trapeze Clown. We really enjoyed watching  the clown flip over. We found out that the harder you squeezed the sticks together the more the clown flipped over.
