Year 1 Star Writer
Congratulations to Tyler and Katlyn who both produced a fantastic piece of writing this week! After our visit from PC Wayne, the children wrote about their favourite part of the afternoon. PC Wayn's hats were very popular!
Year 2 Star Writers
Zac and Bobby are our fantastic Star Writers this week. The boys had a super imagination when writing a diary entry as if they were caught in the Great Fire of London.
Here are some examples of the super sentences they thought of:
Huge buildings were crashing down all around me.
Blistering, flickering flames were everywhere.
Suddenly out of nowhere I heard an almighty explosion that made my ears hurt.
The bad, choking smoke filled my lungs and made me feel sick!
Keep up the fabulous work boys!

Year 2 Star Writers
A huge well done to John and Rashid for being Star Writers this week. They worked very hard to use adjectives in their writing to add detail to descriptions of what they could see, smell and hear.
Keep it up boys!
