Year 2 What We Are Learning

 

 

These children have worked extremely

hard and have been rewarded for

all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Mulberry Class:

Charlie, for working really hard to improve

his maths  and for his effort during his

mass, capacity and  and temperature assessment.



Rowan Class

Ayva, for working hard to improve her

maths knowledge. Keep up the great work!


Pine Class

Jaxon, for using pictograms correctly

and accurately when  counting and

organising shapes and animals. Well done!



 Star Writers

Mulberry Class

Lujah, for working conscientiously  to

produce beautiful pieces of writing. Super effort!


Rowan Class

Harley, for using her plan to write a brilliant

non-chronological report about Jackals. Great work!


Pine Class

Jayden-Lee, for writing a fantastic non-chronological

report on Jackals where they have used fascinating

facts to make their writing informative and engaging.

The reflectiveness award this week goes to: 

Eridola, Chloe and Harlie

Eridola, for always taking the time to reflect

on your work, making sure your thoughts and

ideas are clear and well-communicated.

Keep up the excellent work.


Chloe was able to reflect upon her

writing when editing her work. Great job!


Well done Harlie  for working very hard to write

your report. Also, you proof-read your writing 

and improved on  it. Super job!

Mfon, your problem solving skills and

ability to think outside the box are truly

Natalia was able to use a sound mat

to support her when spelling unfamiliar words!


The resilience award this week goes to: Aditi

Aditi, you worked very hard to complete your writing.

Even when you found it challenging, you

did not give up. Well done!

These children have demonstrated perseverance,

managed distractions, noticed patterns and

been absorbed in their tasks.



These pupils have been curious about their

learning, made links between ideas, shown

imagination, reasoned methodically and

capitalised on resources.
