Year 1 Awards

 

 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apricot: Ayva

Ayva displays fantastic behaviour. Ayva is always making the right decisions in and around the classroom. 





Beech: Teddy-James

For cutting and sticking all of the numbers of the clock face correctly. Teddy-James worked hard to make his clock face and added the hands with a split pin. He could then make different times. Well done Teddy-James!








                                                                   Walnut: Eridola

For her excellent contributions during partner talk. Eridola uses this time wisely to share her ideas and extend her learning. Fantastic!



Star Writers 

Apricot:Afreenish

Afreenish has worked super hard on constructing her sentences. She has been expressing her ideas, saying it and then writing it down.

 



Beech: Khushbakht

For thinking of some important questions to ask about Year 2 and remembering to add her question marks to the end of her sentences.


 



 Walnut: Albie 

For writing with more consistency! Albie is using his sounds more accurately and is beginning to extend his writing. Excellent!




 Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others.


Isabella- For communicating with her peers carefully to sort out problems fairly. Great work Isabella! 




Mujtaba- for working well with others in the Construction Area. He made some amazing creations using several different resources with his peers. Well done





Reflectiveness 

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their 



Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 



Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 


Rory- Rory has been making fantastic creations with anything from a cardboard box to a little pom pom! Amazing Imagination!


I Made My Teacher Happy Award 


Freya- Freya amends her work with a positive attitude and listens to feedback really well. 




Isaam- For his efforts to answer questions correctly on the carpet! Fabulous work Issam.
