Year 1 Awards

 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of

their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Apricot: Zach

Zach has been patient and trying hard this week when he finds work a little

difficult.

Well Done Zach for preserving! 



Beech: Lukas 

For his hard work in Maths this week. Lukas worked well in a

group to find half of

different quantities using a range of resources. Well done Lukas!



Walnut: Noura

For her efforts to improve her handwriting and ensure she is

writing on the lines.

Fantastic Noura, Keep it up!



Star Writers 

Apricot: Tommy 

Tommy tried his best to write more independently when

writing a letter

. He used his knowledge of red words and sounds to write unfamiliar words. 




Beech: Aayan 


For writing a letter to Mrs Nicholls describing how we can keep our school

clean and tidy.

Well done Aayan!



 Walnut: Emma

For trying her best to form her sentences out loud before she writes

them down.

Emma is trying hard to think of and write her own

ideas in literacy. Fabulous!




Reflectiveness 

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can

talk about their learning. 


 Nathaniel: Nathaniel has been expressing his learning this week,

he has been discussing half and

quarters and using counters to find answer. 



Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions,

noticed patterns

and been absorbed in their tasks. 


Yahya 

For his hard work in Maths this week. Yahya was able to find half of different

quantities using a range of resources. He was able

to manage distractions

and was absorbed in his task. Well done Yahya!

For his efforts this week to be engaged in his learning

and write more independently.
